[Korean mountain] Inwangsan Mountain 01

Have you ever hiking Korean mountain?

You may tried Hallasan mountain in Jeju island.

There are many famous mountain(or hill) in Korea and Inwangsan is of them.

There are several way to go Mt.Inwangsan but we will try to go from Gyeongbokgung stat.

It is simple. Get out Gyeongbokgung stat. and take small bus and go to the end of the bus line.

When you are getting out from Exit no.3 from Gyeongbokgung station(Orange Line),

You will see this view and keep going straight.

And then you can find out 'Popeyes' an opposite side.

There is a bus station which called small village bus(called ma-eul bus in Korean).

Here!

When you arrived if there are several  a-zum-ma sitting on bench, you are at right place.

There is only a bus Jong-ro No.9 which take you Mt.Inwangsan 

So you don't need to consider which bus you need to take it.

It needs 5 stops to arrive at the end of last station.... about 15 min.?

Here we are!!

There is Mt.Inwangsan!

In a minute, you can watch this beautiful scene!

You were just in downtown 20 min. ago,

but you are here with beautiful scenery!

There is an information about this area.

This area was shown in a drawing which drawn by famous painter Jeong Seon (1676~1759).

He is the best painter in middle of Joseon dynasty(15 century ~17 century) .

This is a his drawing at this point of view. 

It is almost same scenery as 400 years ago.

A stone bridge has been called Giringyo, same name since 17 century.

Go with a small trail, you can find out some people sitting down.

There is a girl drawing, she may want to draw same one as Jeong-seon drew.

This area is called Su-Seong-Dong valley.

Of course there is a stream which makes you experience cold summer!

How beautiful scenery!

There is a summer house named.... anyway, which you can take a rest.

Let's go up more in 5 min. you will see.....

How peaceful!

A family were taken a rest and small boy were flutter kicking, so cute.

This is another scene in Mt.Inwangsan.

Of courser there are many flowers~

This flower make me flashback which a snowman, Olaf in a movie Frozen.

He may dreamed dancing in like here, beautiful place.

Until now, a trail is good!!

Also many benches make you sit for a while.

Also small pond!

A board is saying 'There are many small animals. Please let them live here.'

which made by high school.

This is a education, right?

They know how protect our village that doesn't need complicated policy.

Until here, there is no one which doesn't look around.

A trail is good enough to walk and beautiful scene.

You will be hard to believe you were in 20 min from downtown of Seoul.

But from now, if you want to go up more, it is a hiking and could be hard to the elder and young child.

But you are healthy enough to hike more then 30 min. with steep trail...

hmm.....

it is not a trail, almost stairs...

anyway if you don't mind, let't go together!
