[Ihwa mural village 01] way to go mural village and erased mural

Ihwa-dong Mural Village, actually I don't know well.....

It looks made for foreigner tourist...

Or I wasn't interested in Seoul....

Anyway I visit there first time even I live in Seoul more then 10 ye...a...r...s..

hahahahahaha....

How to get there.....

There are several way to go but it it hard to take a but for foreigner...

So I only suggest to take subway to Hyehwa stat.(Blue line, no 4)

Of course, to take a taxi is a way to go.

It needs under 20 min and around 5,000 won from Changdeokgung.

But why don't you try to walking Korean street?

When you are getting out exit no.2, Hyehwa stat.....

You can find out this building named Arko theater.

Hyehwa is a center of Korean play, there are many small theater.

Most of them used to provide only for Korean....

To go Ihwa mural village, go straight with this building.

Also go straight.....

Go straight again...

And turn right at the end of this road.

You can find out this street and go straight.

I'm not sure how it looks... but it is a steep slope...

But don't worry, it will end in 10 min...

At the start point of a slope, there are Korean crocks over a roof.

The other side, there is a camel mural.. but it doesn't means beginning of mural village.

Oh! cute cat! Do you know where these cute cat came from..?

I saw them in Singapore too... hmm...

Looks like creative creature...

Climbing a mountain with wire...

OH! you almost complete your slope on your way to Ihwa mural village!

Which means....?

It needs more then 10 min with plat road....

hahahahahahaha..

But there are several cute creatures!

Cute gentle man and dog.... try to walk to sky!

It is better to watch it in real!

How about take a photo with him?

It looks start mural village! right! almost there!

It was started! the mural village!

It is a first souvenir shop!

It is a cafe named milk factory!

And you can find out mural village!!

Actually I need to tell you one of important issue....

One of most famous mural... was erased....

So there was many group of tourist to take a pic with this mural.

But now there are small people of tourist who doesn't know this issue.

There is issue between people who live here and government because of noise and trash made by tourist.....

I'm sure most of tourist doesn't make it but... some of....

I guess some of package tourist made it because they believe that they payed for right to sightseeing for this mural village such as right to free usage...

Anyway!

But there are many little cute murals and also there is another place to go, a Naksan park!

It make you calm and experience another Seoul!
